LAYOUT - TOTAL STATION
Course Description
This course will reinforce concepts relating to set up and use of the Total Station. Participants will use a data collector to create a new job, enter control and building points, review set up of the Total Station, and layout a small building project. Other practical applications of the Total Station equipment will include Side shots, Resection, Point in Direction, and laying out multiple points on a line.
Special Instructions
Tools and/or supplies required: Hard hat, clear safety glasses, work boots, tool belt, tape measure, framing hammer, utility knife, speed square, chalk line (no red or black), pen/pencil, notebook, highlighter and calculator.
